what in the world is "tahini"??? Can you buy it at Kroger or do you have to fly to a foreign country to get it?? Sounds like a good recipe. You should make some for me so I can try it. :) Just kidding. I don't know if I've had Hummus before.
Tahini is sesame seed paste. I'm not sure if you can buy it at Kroger or not. Maybe they would have it in the Health food section. You can go to any "whole food" type store and find it there. I bought mine at Valu Market on Bardstown Rd. It's in the same shopping center at the Baxter Theaters. You will find it in the "world foods" section. Or, I can make you some for when you guys come and visit. lol.
well I'm glad someone else asked what tahini is, because I was wondering the same thing! hummus huh? I've never had the guts to try it, it just looks weird... Maybe I will have to give it a whirl!!
I don't think I've ever had hummus, either...but I did eat a few strange things at a ritzy retro restaurant in San Diego, so maybe. The recipe does sound good. And guess what...I've purchased tahini before!!
By the way, you should post this recipe on the Recipe Swap blog. Check out my links to get to it.
Ollie, this has absolutely nothing to do with hummus, but I have a question. I went to the Office website, but I couldn't find the link to get Dwight to make a phone call. Do you remember where you found it? I am still very curious.

So I think I've had humms ONCE and it made me sick after. Too bad it tasted soooo good after while eating it....;) I'm glad that you really enjoyed it, never been to California Pizza Kitchen...but I've heard it's great. We may just have to go sometime, I think there's one in Provo.
