Well, he finally finished! Shane has officially taken the bar. We won't find out if he passed or not until October, but it's hard to believe that he wouldn't. Friday and Saturday my parents watched the girls so we could finally have a break and celebrate after all that work. Friday night we went out to a restaurant called Seviche. We went with some friends of ours and ended up staying for almost 2 1/2 hours! We did the full experience. We ordered Appetizers, Main course, and dessert. And you know it's a fancy place when they hand you the dessert menu and there are no prices on it! YIKES! We have NEVER spent that much on a meal before, but let me tell you...... it was the best food and SOOOO worth it!Afterwards we went to the movies since we hadn't been to the movie theater together in almost a year. We watched Transformers and to my surprise it was a lot of fun! The next morning we slept in until 11:00am. We had grand ideas of doing something cool on Saturday, but we were just too lazy. Instead we went to Denny's and had breakfast. Then we went comparison shopping for a dresser for the kids room. Later we helped clean the church building. Did I mention we really know how to have fun??? After cleaning we went to Shogun's Japanese restaurant (the kind where they cook in front of you). Our cook was by far the most un-enthusiastic cook in the entire building. Lucky for us we met another couple that sat at our table and we had some good laughs with them.
We are sooooooooooo relieved that school is finally done for Shane and that he can actually focus on work for the first time. Hopefully waiting for the results of the bar won't be too dreadful!
This video that I am posting has nothing to do with our "celebration" weekend, I just had to post it because it is really funny.
